Basic Program
Semester One Intern Clinic

After you complete your 250 hours of Basic Program classroom studies, the Internship is where you apply your diligently acquired skills and knowledge in an actual clinical environment. This is your opportunity to prove to yourself that you can do it! You'll also realize that your many hours of study were truly worth the effort.

The Intership enables you to accumulate the fifty hours of practical experience required for Texas licensing as you provide basic relaxation massage therapy for the public in our on-campus clinic. Most importantly, you'll discover that people will appreciate and be willing to pay you for the time and effort that you've invested in acquiring a truly professional education in the art and science of therapeutic massage.

What you'll achieve as an intern

  • Fifty hours of supervised, hands-on experience
  • The confidence that you can provide a professional massage
  • The endurance to maintain a busy practice
  • Familiarity with basic massage clinic operations
